''Closing ceremony of MAIC Fiesta at MAIC'' The dance and fashion show created a stir
Nov 30, 2024 A three-day MAIC Fiesta was organized at Maharaja Agrasen International College, Samta Colony, Raipur. The students were seen very excited and enthusiastic in the premises of the college on 28/11/2024, the same enthusiasm remains intact even today on the third day of MAIC Fiesta. The Chairman of the college, Shri. Rajesh Agarwal was specially present in the program. Mrs. Rimpal Agarwal, Mrs. Anchal Panjwani, Ms. Yamini Kushwaha were present as judges.
The program was inaugurated with great pomp under the guidance of the Chairman of the college, Shri. Rajesh Agarwal and Principal Dr. M.S. Mishra.
On the second day of MAIC Fiesta, the entire college campus was filled with the enthusiasm of the program where the atmosphere of the auditorium became spiritual with the verses of Mahabharata, Bhagavad Gita and Ramayana. Along with this, various programs were organized in different places in which the participants presented their creations in Mehndi (Arabic, Indo-Arabic, Muthalai, Moroccan), Juda flower and other items. In the Sur competition, the participants made the judges to dance with their melodious songs. Drama, poetry, role play were the center of attraction in the Talent Show competition.
MAIC Fiesta is the most prominent among various programs going throughout the year in Maharaja Agrasen International College for which all the students eagerly wait. There was a festive atmosphere in the entire college on the last day of MAIC Fiesta. Further, Bride and Groom competition was organized in which students participated with great enthusiasm and won everyone's heart by showing their attires. The brides were seen dressed in traditional dresses of different states which included Punjabi, Bengali, Rajasthani, Christian, Marathi and Muslim looks. The grooms were seen in Rajasthani, Chhattisgarhi, Bengali, Muslim, Marathi and Punjabi looks in the program. After this, a fashion show was organized on the title of 'Cultural Fashion Show' in which Gujarati, Kerala, Kashmiri, Persian, Siya, Bengali, Rajasthani, Punjabi, Banarasi, Ardhnarishwar, Tamil, Maa Saraswati, Chhattisgarhi and Rajputani dresses were presented. Along with this, glimpses of Indonesia, Nagaland, Indian and foreign culture were also seen. Chairman Shri. Rajesh Agarwal said that the importance of the program is great along with studies and said that this year's MAIC Fiesta is better than the last 15 years. Rimple Agarwal said that the enthusiasm of the teachers and students of MAIC is of the next level.
The closing ceremony of the three-day MAIC Fiesta was celebrated with great pomp and show with great enthusiasm and the winners were awarded.
This program was organized with the cooperation of college administrator Ms. Shivangi Mishra and in-charge Mrs. Ruchi Sachan, co-ordinator Mr. Mahesh Soni and Mr. Hasan Raza and all the professors of the college.
