Jan 27, 2024 The 76th Republic Day was celebrated with grandeur on January 26, 2025, at Maharaja Agrasen International College Raipur. The event witnessed the esteemed presence of JFS CR Shri Rekhesh Sharma, IPNP, JCI India, as the chief guest. The entire event was organized under the guidance of Chairman of college Shri Rajesh Agrawal, Principal Dr.M.S. Mishra and Administrator Ms. Shivangi Mishra.
The program commenced with the ceremonial flag hoisting by the chief guest, followed by an impressive march past by the Rover Rangers and students of the college. The MAIC Music students captivated the audience with soul-stirring patriotic songs like Mera Karma Tu Mera Dharma Tu and Aye Mere Watan Ke Logon. A patriotic dance drama, performed by MAIC students, further elevated the spirit of the occasion.
Dr. M.S. Mishra, Principal in his welcome speech spoke about the journey towards an independent and republican India, achieved in 1950. He underscored the importance of celebrating this festival as a reminder of the nation’s unity and integrity.
Chairman Mr. Rajesh Agarwal, in his speech, highlighted Republic Day as a significant national festival, symbolizing the sacrifices made for the nation’s independence and republic. He extended his greetings and encouraged the younger generation to honor the values of the Constitution.
In his address, the chief guest paid homage to the brave soldiers of the nation and emphasized the importance of fulfilling one’s duties alongside one’s rights. He lauded MAIC for its commendable efforts and urged the youth to contribute to the nation's progress through dedicated service.
The event was marked by vibrant enthusiasm and patriotism among the faculty, students, and attendees. Dignitaries present included Administrator Ms. Shivangi Mishra, Mrs. Rimple Agrawal, Mr. L. D. Dubey, Mr. Amitabh Dubey, members of the JCI family, Scouts and Guides, and prominent citizens of the Agrawal Samaj. The incharge for the event was Ar. Neha Agase. The celebrations concluded on a high note, leaving a lasting impression of national pride.
