Godawari Power & Ispat Visited by MAIC Students

Maharaja Agrasen International College Samta Colony Raipur organized an Industrial visit to Godawari (Power & Ispat), Siltara for Students of Management Department . The industrial visit was successfully conducted under the guidance of Chairman Shri Rajesh Agrawal and Principal Dr. M.S. Mishra. In the industrial visit, around 43 students and 2 faculty members, Dr.Ila dixit HOD & Mr Hassan Raza from the department proceeded for the visit. The main objective of the visit was to make the management students aware of practical knowledge of the industries. Students prepared a report on the knowledge of what they had received. Appropriate arrangements were made by the industry for all the students. All the students were guided beforehand with PowerPoint presentation and observed the industry very closely. The employees gave a cooperative introduction to the management students by making them aware of the entire methodology. Step by step detailed explanation of the process and assembling of the final products were shown. The main objective of this event was to familiarize the students with the working of the Industry, Eminent Opportunity for students to interact with Industry Experts, Interactions are useful to students in their career and help them in developing leadership qualities, management skills, and learn about the industry working. Scope for students to see and experience real workstations, plants, machines, systems, assembly lines, and interact with highly trained and experienced personnel also. How managers, production engineers, employees work in tandem to achieve a common target is a management lesson in itself. And therefore, such exposure during the industrial visit is more beneficial for BBA students. Students took the fullest as this industry is famous for siren and power generation. The specialty of this plant is that steel is produced through eco-friendly method. No such means of disrupting the environment can be seen in this industry. Keeping in mind that there is no pollution in the industry, the beauty of the industry has been enhanced with trees and plants everywhere. It was a successful and fruitful visit. Mr. Sanjay Gupta, Chief Human Resource Officer, Mr. Debashish Das, General Manager and Mr. Amit Sanyal, Senior Manager Talent Acquisition and Management & HR cooperated with the students of MAIC for the successful conduction of the visit.
