Independence week celebrated at MAIC on Proud Bhartiya
Aug 14, 2024 Maharaja Agrasen International College, Raipur celebrated the independence week on theme Proud Bhartiya. In this programme various competitions were organized such as reel making, rangoli , selfie frame, quiz and face painting between 12th to 14th August.
The programme is planned and successfully executed under the guidance of Chairman of MAIC, Shri Rajesh Agrawal and Principal Dr M.S Mishra .
The main objective of this program is to impart knowledge and enhance creativity among the students and to introduce the country's culture and morality. India is a country full of diversity where people of different languages, religions, cultures and traditions live together. A proud Indian respects this diversity and considers it a part of his identity. He is proud of his country's achievements, be it in the field of science, technology, sports or art. Likewise the students who participated in various competitions such as reel making, selfie frame, quiz, rangoli and face painting, have depicted patriotism. They portrayed beautifully Proud Indians and culture rich diversity through their active participation.
On 12th August, a face painting competition was organized in which the students painted National flag and tricolour pictures. Next Day Quiz and rangoli competitions were held on patriotic theme. In the Reel making, a glimpse of the future of the country was seen . Further in the selfie frame competition, selfie frames were made on the theme Proud Bhartiya and students took selfie and uploaded it on social media to spread patriotism.
Also on 14th of August , Rover Ranger , JCI and other students participated in Tiranga rally in which they distributed Indian flag to every shop in Samta colony, Choubey colony and Jaistambh chowk to contribute towards government initiative of " Har Ghar Tiranga ".
The participation of the students was commendable. The outline of a 'Proud Bhartiya' program in the celebration of 78th independence day was completed with the help of Architect Preeti Sahu and other faculties in coordination.
