'Site Visit and Design Workshop Organised by Interior Design Department at MAIC

Department of Interior Design BVOCID at Maharaja Agrasen International College organised Site Visit and Design Workshop for its First, Second and Third Year Students of the department. The Site Visit and Workshop was organised under the guidance of Chairman Shri Rajesh Agrawal, Principal Dr.M.S. Mishra and Administrator Ms. Shivangi Mishra. The Site Visit was especially conducted for First and Second year students in order to practically explain Semester 1 students the structural elements of a building in a construction phase. Semester 3 students carefully observed and understood the peculiarities of Plumbing Services on site. The site visit helped students to practically analyse and understand the vertical as well as horizontal structural components along with the Water Supply and Drainage Systems. The department also organized a Design Workshop headed by Ar. Sinchal Wadhwa, Owner and Architect at Creative Designs, Raipur who addressed the students of Semester 3 and Semester 5 where she elaborately explained and discussed major design topics spanning over Residential, Commercial, Hospitality and Retail categories. The Design insights from her helped students immensely in their own design and its evolution.
