Celebrating the Vibrant Festival of Basant Panchami at MAIC
Feb 03, 2025 MAIC organized Saraswati Pooja Celebration to initiate young minds into the realm of knowledge and creativity. The event was conducted successfully under the guidance of Shri Rajesh Agrawal, Chairman of MAIC college and Principal Dr. M.S Mishra.
Shri Ramesh Agrawal, Ex-chairman of MAIC performed all the Saraswati Pooja Rituals along with Shri Rajendra Prasad Agrawal, Trustee MAIC. Basant Panchami, the festival dedicated to the worship of Goddess Saraswati.On this auspicious day, students of the college pay homage to Goddess Saraswati, the epitome of knowledge, art, and music. The vibrant festivities were characterized by the adornment Saraswati Devi murti with yellow flowers and clothes, symbolizing the blossoming of the mustard flowers that paint the fields in hues of yellow. All the faculties and students were dressed up in orange and yellow colour traditional wears.
One of the most iconic traditions of Basant Panchami is the initiation of young children into the world of education and art. It is believed that initiating formal education or the learning of a new art form on this day is a sign of success and prosperity.
Moreover, the day was also observed as an occasion for creative expression, with artists and student musicians paying tribute to Goddess Saraswati through their performances and artistic endeavors. The air is filled with the melodious tunes of the Veena and the reverberating chants of Vedic hymns, creating an aura of spiritual enlightenment and artistic fervor.
