'' MAIC welcomes Lord Ganesha amidst grand celebration on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi''
Sep 07, 2024 As per the annual tradition, this year also Shree Ganesh Chaturthi was organized on 07.09.2024 at Maharaja Agrasen International College, Samta Colony, Raipur with enthusiasm and devotion. The program started with chanting of mantras leading to Ganpati Sthapana. Chairman Respected Shri Rajesh Agarwal were especially present in the program. Before starting any work, the praise of Lord Ganesha is invoked. Lord Ganesha is also called Vighnaharta who removes all the difficulties and obstacles in human life and provides happiness. Lord Shri Ganesha takes away the sorrows of all human beings while leaving after 10 days. The idol of Lord Ganesha was installed in the college premises and puja was performed with all the rituals. In MAIC, the professors and students together presented devotional bhajans and prayed for their bright future with full devotion. Bhajans like Gajanan Ji come home…, Tumhi Ganesh Bemisal…, Achyutam Keshavam… and O Palan Hare… were presented by students.
The entire atmosphere of the college became devotional and people also chanted in praise of Lord Ganesh. All the people present in MAIC were mesmerized by the bhajans sung by the students of the college. After the Bhajan Kirtan, the program concluded with the distribution of Prasad. The 10-day long Ganesh festival is celebrated with great pomp and show in MAIC.
The program was successfully organized under the guidance of Principal Dr. M.S. Mishra and Administrator Ms. Shivangi Mishra. The in-charge of the program was Assistant Professor Anjali Swarnkar and the coordinators were Assistant Professor Amol Dewangan and Assistant Professor Nilima Nishad. A large number of students and the entire MAIC family were present in the program.
