Embark, Freshtech Odyssey and Arambh – Freshers Party with various themes were organized by all the

The Department of Management, Computer, Interior Design and Commerce of Maharaja Agrasen International College, Raipur organised a freshers party at the college auditorium to welcome new students in a friendly atmosphere and to encourage their creative impulses to boost their confidence. The series of Freshers were spread over a span of 3 days where on 6th October 2023 Depatment of Management organized the event for their department titled “Embark”on the theme of Bollywood where students reprised various bollywood actors and actresses through their attire from Jay- Veeru of Sholay to Shantipriya of om Shanti Om. Department of Computer and Interior Design organized the event on 7th October 2023 titled “Freshtech Odyssey” with the theme Indo-Western where the freshers were decked up in varied interesting attires following the theme. Department of Commerce organized the event on 9th October 2023 titled “Arambh” with the party theme of Oscars where the students were appropriately decked up in dazzling attires justifying the theme and giving it an Red carpet vibe to whole event. All the events started with lamp lightening infront of Maa Saraswati and Maharaja Agrasen by college dignitaries and HOD of all the respective departments. The events were altogether filled with numerous dance performances from the seniors of all departments and various other performances and interesting games for the freshers. In the next segment of the event all the fresher students participated in ramp walk thus making the whole event more mesmerizing overall. It was followed by speech of the Principal. He addressed the students about their all round development in the college with various activities which will help them in their future. He also gave example of Hon'ble Chairman, about his keen participation and encouragement despite of his busy schedule. He advised the students to learn from his observations as well as enthusiasm and begin their journey of life to bring a good change in themselves and the society. After that, Hon'ble Chairman addressed the students and told the meaning of 'Aarambh'. He depicted the audience that life has three beginnings- one when a child is born, other when he enters college and another after marriage. He also apprised everyone about their duties. The speech was followed by Title distribution to the winning freshers. There were different titles awarded by the Principal, HODs of all the departments collectively and HR department.
