MAIC Interior Design Students won awards at Young Designers Festival organized by IIID Raipur

Students of Interior Design BVOC ID of Maharaja Agrasen International College, Raipur won awards at competitions at Young Designers Festival (YDF) organized by Indian Institute of Interior Designers (IIID), Raipur held on 21st September 2024 at Pratistha Banquet, Raipur. Young Designers Festival by IIID gave platform to budding Interior Designers to communicate, express and understand design in much better way. The whole participation from the college was under the guidance of Respected Chairman Shri Rajesh Agrawal, Principal Dr. M.S. Mishra and Administrator Ms. Shivangi Mishra Ma’am who congratulated and motivated students on their tremendous participation and marvelous winning streak at the event. 54 Students from the BVOCID department participated in the program which had various workshops, competitions and panel discussions. Over 300 participants from over 13 Design institutes of Raipur gathered and competed in the various competitions. Students of the department also participated and performed a Rajasthani Dance and a Punjabi Contemporary Dance in the Cultural event followed by Collective dances where students enjoyed themselves. Various workshops like Photography, Clay Art, Lighting, paper quilling etc. were also hosted at the event where students learnt new and creative art techniques as well as new artworks were created by them. Students of MAIC BVOCID emerged as winners and secured First position in Moodboard Relay Race and the participants were Rishi Gawri, Abhay Chandra, Keshab Goinka, Hitesh Parchani, Khushi Kesharwani and Rimjhim Goyal students of BVOC ID 2nd and 3rd Year who clearly understood the design problem and solved tremendously. In another competition of Nukkad Natak on the topic of Life of an Interior Designer, group of 8 students performed the anecdotes in each life stages marvelously and secured Runner up spot in the competition and the participants were Shristi Bondia, Palak Singhal, Sunidhi Somani, Chanchala Tanu Anal, Shraddha Jain, Jaskrit Kaur Bhatia, Pihu Agrawal and Aditi Agrawal students of BVOC ID 1st and 3rd Year. HOD of the department Ar. Preeti Sahu was also felicitated at the event by the IIID organisers. The Students were accompanied by faculties of the department ID Jaishree Dewangan and Ar. Poorvi Saha throughout the event.
