Tie and Dye Workshop organized on the occasion of National Handloom Day at MAIC

The Department of Interior Design at Maharaja Agrasen International College organized Tie and Dye Workshop in order to celebrate National Handloom Day on 7 August 2023. National Handloom Day is observed on this day nationwide which honors the handloom weavers and recognizes their role in the country's economy and culture. To honor our indigenous rich cultural heritage a hand on Tie and Dye Workshop was organized which was conducted under the assistance of Ar. Neha Agase, Assistant Professor Interior Design Department and it was an open forum for all students and faculties of the college. Ar. Neha taught the participants various folding techniques, new and easy ways to do the Tie and Dye process through Fabric Acrylic Colors. Students and Faculties of all the departments enthusiastically participated and created beautiful designs using different color shades and folds. The Department HOD Ar. Preeti Sahu and all the Interior Design Department faculties were also present and coordinated for the seamless transition of the workshop. The workshop was successfully organized under the guidance and encouragement of Shri Rajesh Agarwal Chairman of the college, Principal Dr. M.S. Mishra and administrator Mr. Siddharth Sabharwal.
