Fresher’s Day Celebration at MAIC “Aarambh - A New Journey at MAIC”
Oct 17, 2022 The Department of Commerce of Maharaja Agrasen International College, Raipur had organised a freshers party to welcome new students in a friendly atmosphere and to encourage their creative impulses to boost their confidence. It was held on 17th october 2022 in MAIC auditorium. The program started with lamp lightening infront of Maa Saraswati and Maharaja Agrasen by Honorable Chairman Mr. Rajesh Agrawal, Honorable Principal Dr. M. S. Mishra and Administrator Mr. Siddharth Sabharwal and Dr. Shweta Tiwari, HOD, Department of Commerce. It was followed by speech of the Principal. He addressed the students about their all round development in the college with various activities which will help them in their future. He also gave example of Hon'ble Chairman, about his keen observation despite of his busy schedule. He advised the students to learn from observations and begin their journey of life to bring a good change in themselves and the society. After that, Hon'ble Chairman addressed the students and told the meaning of 'Aarambh'. He depicted the audience that life has three beginnings- one when a child is born, other when he enters college and another after marriage. He also apprised everyone about their duties. The speech was followed by stunning ramp walk session by freshers and mesmerising performance by MAIC band. There was a tough competition among the freshers as they all were amazing! There were dance performances too. The whole program was performed under the supervision of Dr. Shweta Tiwari, HOD, Department of Commerce. The event was finally concluded with vote of thanks by student of B.Com. Ayush Giri Goswami. Refreshments were served in after the program.
