Maharaja Agrasen International College Raipur celebrated its 18th Foundation Day Today.
Jul 05, 2024 Maharaja Agrasen International College, Raipur celebrated its 18th Foundation Day today along with the release of XVIII edition of Annual College Magazine – MAIC Light and Scholarship Distribution to the topper students of each department and batch. The Chief Guest for the event was Mahant Ram Sundar Das (Mahant Dudhadhari Math, Raipur and Former MLA). The trustees of the Shri Maharaja Agrasen Charitable Trust Shri Birendra Kumar Agarwal, Shri Rajendra Agrawal, Shri Rajesh Agrawal (Chairman - MAIC), Shri Ramesh Agrawal (Ex- Chairman - MAIC), Governing board member and Special Invitee Shri Nawal Kishore Agrawal were especially present for the event.
The event started with a welcome song and welcome dance by students of MAIC Music and MAIC Rhythm followed by the video presentation of the college. The topper students of B.com Ms. Kali Bajaj and B.Sc Ms. Khushi Kumbhare their experiences pertaining to college and various virtues that were embedded in them over her their learning period here and also elaborated how the college and faculties have ensured overall development of all students. The program was formally inaugurated by lighting of the lamp by the honourable guest and dignitaries. Dr. Shweta Tiwari also briefed the dignitaries and students regarding the journey, achievements, and tremendous growth of the college spanning over 18 yrs. Dr. M. S. Mishra explained the biggest charity of all is to provide education and the college is thankful for the trust for their exceptional commitment and motivational work in the field of education and also wholeheartedly welcomed all the trustees present and in absentia as well as mentioned gratitude towards their involvement and guidance provided for the college. Following this the newly appointed President of JCI Raipur MAIC United Mr. Abhijeet Agrawal was introduced by IPP Kriti Agrawal and was congratulated by the JCI and College Dignitaries.
In the next segment of the event the XVIII edition of Annual College Magazine MAIC Lite of session 2023-24 was released and scholarship distribution to the merit holder students of session 2023-24 commenced in the presence of the honorable chief guest and trustees. The Special edition of MAIC Solitaire Magazine by JCI Raipur MAIC United was also inaugurated honoring the social segment of MAIC. Ex- Chairman Shri. Ramesh Agarwal elaborated the emersion of his father’s vision that has resulted into this great and flourishing establishment that has provided educational facilities to numerous students and is continuing to do so. He also applauded Shri Rajesh Agrawal, Chairman of the college for his unwavering involvement and support as well as attention to detail as important and motivating aspect of the growth of the college. Chairman of College Shri Rajesh Agrawal welcomed all the dignitaries and thanked them for their valuable presence. He also elaborated the audience about MAIC Culture that the institution is aiming to follow from the upcoming academic session with an aim to inculcate strong cultural, patriotic values and sense of being grounded among its students. The Chief Guest Mahant Ram Sundar Das Ji also mentioned his admiration towards exceptional growth of the college and its continuous upliftment as a matter of proud for the city and state. All the department heads, faculty members and students were present and were witnesses of this grand event. The event concluded with Vote of Thanks from Administrator Ms. Shivangi Mishra.
