World Photography Day celebrated at Maharaja Agrasen International College

B. Voc Interior Design Department of Maharaja Agrasen International College, Raipur conducted a Photography competition at department level in order to celebrate World Photography Day 2023 on 19 August 2023. World Photography day is observed annually worldwide on August 19 with an aim to offer a platform to honor the incredible impact that photography has had on shaping our perceptions of the world. Every year a new theme is decided so that photographers can share their photographs accordingly. The theme for the World Photography Day 2023 is Landscapes. The students were given this theme of Landscape and were asked to photograph accordingly in the college campus itself. The competition was organized with the motive to encourage students to recognize and develop their Photography Skills in a better way. The Students participated enthusiastically and competed with best of their abilities. Shakshi Agrawal of B.VOC ID 1st Year was the Winner and Chanchal Chandak B.VOC ID 1st Year was the Runner Up for the competition. The winning students were felicitated by Principal Dr. M.S. Mishra who made students aware of the importance of participation and applauded their zeal towards the activity. Department HOD Ar. Preeti Sahu and all faculties were present for the prize distribution. The competition was successfully organized under the guidance of the Chairman of the college, Mr. Rajesh Agarwal, Principal Dr. M S Mishra, and administrator, Mr. Siddharth Sabarwal who also motivated the students on their successful and zealous participation.
