Mental, Physical and Social Well Being is Health – Dr. Susheel Sharma

Maharaja Agrasen International College in Samta Colony Raipur organized a free health checkup camp on April 20, 2023 in its campus premises. It was organised with the collaboration of JCI Raipur MAIC United and MAIC IQAC cell. In this busy world where no one has time for health, this health camp initiative was taken to make people aware about their health. This health camp was organised for college students, their parents, college faculties and supporting staff. The program was formally inaugurated by floral welcome and felicitation with memento of the team of Doctors present for the camp along with that of Chairman of the college Shri. Rajesh Agarwal and Principal Dr. M.S. Mishra. Principal Dr. M.S. described health as the biggest wealth of life and also said that if there is no amount of wealth but there is no health, then we cannot enjoy life properly. Mr. Rajesh Agarwal also alerted all the people present about their health and importance of physical and mental well being as a key to balanced and fit life. He also expressed his hearfelt gratefulness to the team of doctors present for the camp. Dr. Susheel Sharma, renowned Orthopedic Joint Replacement Surgeon and Director of Shree Medishine Hospital, Raipur was also especially present for the event. He addressed the students on several topics like life goals, preventive aspects of diseases. He also discussed with the students idea of Gym training and supplements and also mentioned its various disadvantages that may follow. He also advised students to be watchful and vigilante regarding the same. The health camp was led by a team of efficient doctors that included Dr. Susheel Sharma (Orthopedic Joint Replacement Surgeon), Dr. Neha Sahu ( Diet and Nuitrition), Dr. Prakash Patel (Physiotherapy) Dr. Shakshi Shukla ( General Medicine), Dr. Radheshyam Chourasia ( Dental) and Dr. Shakshi Shukla (Gynacology) along with repective nurses and helping staff. The camp was successfully organised under the guidance of college chairman Shri Rajesh Agrawal, Principal Dr. M. S. Mishra, administrator Mr. Siddharth Sabharwal, JCI chapter convener JC Sen Jaya Arora, chapter Incharge JC Rishi Diwan Pandey and all the core members of JCI Raipur MAIC United.
