The Department of Management, Commerce, Computer, Interior Design, Fashion Design and Humanities of Maharaja Agrasen International College, Raipur organised a freshers' party at the college auditorium to welcome new students in a friendly atmosphere and to encourage their creative impulses to boost their confidence. All the events were successfully organized under the guidance and encouragement of Shri Rajesh Agarwal Chairman of the college, Principal Dr. M.S. Mishra and Administrator Ms. Shivangi Mishra. The series of Freshers were spread over a span of 3 days where on 24th September 2024 Depatment of Management organized the event for their department titled “Parichay”on the South Indian theme where students came dressed in beautiful South Indian attires. Department of Commerce organized the event on 25th September 2024 titled “Meme Party” with the party theme of various famous memes of Social Media and where the students were appropriately decked up in interesting attires justifying the theme. Department of Computer, Interior Design, Fashion Design and Humanities organized the event on 26th September 2024 titled “Shubharambh” with the theme Prom and Masquerade where the freshers were decked up in varied interesting attires following the theme and adoring a mask. All the events started with the welcome of college dignitaries and HOD of all the respective departments. The events were altogether filled with numerous dance performances from the seniors of all departments and various other performances and interesting games for the freshers. In the next segment of the event all the fresher students participated in ramp walk thus making the whole event more mesmerizing overall. It was followed by speech of the Principal. He addressed the students about their all round development in the college with various activities which will help them in their future. He advised the students to learn from his observations as well as enthusiasm and begin their journey of life to bring a good change in themselves and the society. After that, Hon'ble Chairman addressed the students and told the meaning of this grand welcome. He also apprised everyone about their duties. The speech was followed by Title distribution to the winning fresher’s. There were different titles awarded by the Principal, Administrator, and HODs of all the departments collectively. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by the students of respective departments.
