“Opening Ceremony Maic Solitaire (May Batch) and Prize Distribution of MAIC SOLITAIRE 2023”
May 03, 2023 Like every year, MAIC RAIPUR had organised MAIC Solitaire from 1st April to 30th April. This program is organised to encourage homemakers and enhance their individual development in collaboration with JCI RAIPUR MAIC UNITED. There were various classes like Zumba, dance, yoga, Self defence, art and craft, Skill Development Program, hairstyle, cooking, social media uses and many more by experts of the respective fields.
All the participants learnt and lived to their fullest during this entire month. Their attendance, their enthusiasm and excitement to achieve something was inspiring. Today prize distribution of different competitions was organised to honour their enthusiasm and to motivate them in their future endeavours. The winners of competitions are- Naina Karani became the winner and Roshani Chhekar became the runner up of Hairstyle Competition. Kavita Saraf became the winner and Bobby Ghuriya became the runner up of Cooking Competition. Twinkle Ashra became the winner and Ishika Jain & Damini Sonkar became the runner up of Art & Craft Competition. Lali Soni became the winner and Kaushal Soni became the runner up of Solo Dance Competition. Khushi Agrawal became the winner and Ajmeri Bano became the runner up of Solo Dance (Western) Competition. Laxmi Yadav and Maya Yadav became the winner and Atrangi Group (Suman Ojha, Roshni Shrivastav, Sonal Mishra, Lalita Sahu, Nisha Shrivastav) became the runner up of Group Dance Competition. Nisha Shrivastav and Archana Diwan were awarded Best Participation award in Maic Solitaire.
The function initiated with a beautiful dance performance by Mrs. Lali Soni on bhajan Shri Ramchandra Kripalu bhajaman. It was followed by two group dances on traditional songs. Mrs. Lali Soni shared her experience. She told that MAIC Solitaire furnished her talent and passion for dance. She was overwhelmed while sharing her thoughts about the event.
Hon’ble Chairman Mr. Rajesh Agrawal addressed the audience and told “For the development of society women empowerment is significant”. He also appreciated all the faculties, trainers, coordinators and volunteers of Maic Solitaire (April Batch). He praised Dr. Akanksha Dubey and Ms. Anuradha Diwan (Incharge) for making the event a grand success. Principal Dr. M. S. Mishra quoted that “Maic Solitaire makes every woman to perform and develop their personality. Behind every successful person there is a woman and they can be their mother, sister, wife or daughter”. Special guest Ms. Priyanka Agrawal appreciated attendance and dedication of all the female participants. Their energy to learn was remarkable. She also said that there are hurdles in life but one has to keep patience and keep growing with confidence.
The entire event was organised under the guidance of Chairman Mr. Rajesh Agrawal, Principal Dr. M.S. Mishra, incharge Ms. Anuradha Diwan, coordinator Dr. Akanksha Dubey and administrator Mr. Siddharth Sabharwal.
