Guest lecture on theory of relativity organized at MAIC
Sep 12, 2023 On 12th September 2023 Department of Computer Science had organised a Guest lecture on 'Theory of Relativity' in Maharaja Agrasen International College Raipur. The guest speaker invited was Dr Ragini Pandey, Assistant Professor, Government D. B. Girls College, Raipur, Chhattisgarh.
Relativity was proposed by renowned scientist Albert Einstein. Relativity explains the law of gravitation and its relation to the forces of nature. The theory transformed theoretical physics and astronomy during 20th century suspending a 200 year old theory of mechanics created primarily by Isaac Newton. It introduced concepts including 4 dimensional space time as a unified entity of space and time.
This lecture was attended by B.Sc. Computer Science students. The lecture was very interactive and beneficial for the students. The speaker used multiple videos and powerful presentation for better understanding of the concept. Department of Computer Application had also organised a Guest lecture on Artificial Intelligence by Mr Kranti Kumar Dewangan for BCA students. MAIC always organises such guest lectures and workshops for betterment of students.
The event was organised under the supervision of Ms. Rishi Pandey, HOD, Department of Computer Science and under the guidance of Chairman Mr Rajesh Agrawal and Principal Dr. M. S. Mishra.
