Rover Ranger initiation ceremony and Inauguration of New Rover Ranger Scholarship Policy held at MAI
Aug 26, 2023 Rover Ranger Initiation ceremony was organized at Maharaja Agrasen International College Samta Colony Raipur on 26 August 2023. Chief Guest for the event was Mr. Satyanarayan Sharma (MLA Rural Raipur) and National Vice President Bharat Scout Guide along with the Special Guests Mr. Kailash Soni (State Secretary Bharat Scout Guide), Mr. G. Swamiji (District President, Bharat Scout- Gine), Mr. L. C. Dubey (Former District President, India Scout Guide), Mr. Suresh Shukla ji (District Chief Commissioner, India Scout Guide), Mrs. Gayatri Singh (Vice President, India Scout Guide) and respected Mr. Rajesh Agarwal, Chairman and President, Rover Crew and Ranger Team, especially were present.
In this event new Rovers were initiated by Dr. Degree Lal Patel and Rangers were initiated by Mrs. Sarita Pandey, thus becoming an integral part of MAIC Rovers and Rangers. Sr. Rover Harsh Singh Thakur shared his two year experience and various work engagements that were part of Rover Ranger proceedings like Nipun Camp, Awareness programs in different schools and villages as well as Nukkad Natak by the team. He also elaborated about Nipun Camp at Vidhansabha Dharsiwa, Raipur that was organized from 15th to 19th July in which all the participants were rewarded with certificates. The week-long camp organized at Abhanpur College is in the process in which various participants from Rover Rangers participated. Also “New Scholarship Policy 2023-24” for Rover Ranger was inaugurated in which Rover Ranger Student with President's Scholarship will be awarded Rs 11,000 along with Certificate and Student with Governor's Scholarship will be awarded Rs 5000 along with the certificate on the basis of overall excellent work engagement. Principal Dr. M.S.Mishra elaborated the need of the prestigious Rover Ranger activities that acts as a major factor to shape the students' overall personality. Chairman Mr. Rajesh Agarwal shared his personal experiences regarding Scouts and Guide and how his proactive participation in it has helped him to lead a motivated and disciplined life and courage to overcome all hurdles in life. He also asked the students to incorporate the same. Chief guest Mr. Satyanarayan Sharma said that students are our future and needed to be courageous. Take a pledge to keep harmony, tolerant affection while facing new challenges in human life. Chairman Shri Rajesh Agarwal along with Satyanarayan Sharma have been an active participant in Scout Guide in 1974 and Mr. Sharma has become National Vice President three times. Our students are currently in Abhanpur for Rashtrapati Camp. The program was concluded with Vote of thanks by Rover Ranger Incharge Mr. Abhijeet Chakraborty. The entire program was organized under the guidance of college chairman Mr. Rajesh Agarwal, Principal Dr. M.S. Mishra and Administrator Mr. Siddharth Sabharwal.
