Maharaja Agrasen International College in collaboration with IQAC Cell MAIC organized a Student Development program on November 2, 2023. The key resource person for the session was Mr. Saurabh Agarwal, Director Real Ispat Power Limited. The session focused on the topic of Crafting Students’ Journey elaborating the key issues students face in college life and how to overcome them. The session commenced with the floral welcome of keynote speaker Mr. Saurabh Agarwal and Chairman Shri Rajesh Agarwal. The welcome was followed by welcome speech by Principal Dr. M.S. Mishra where he warmly welcomed the guest and urged students to carefully listen through the session to witness tremendous change among them. In the next segment of the event the keynote speaker started the session on the topic of Wake Up which aimed at the stress, anxiety that builds up over the years. He also elaborated how the human mind potential is boundless and first step in solving problem is recognizing there is one. He also mentioned focus on right thing at a right time and how the Abundance of supply syndrome that we experience through social media is affecting us. He also discussed the ways and means to divert the negative traits of stress like pressure, fear and perspective. In the conclusion of his talk he summarized the importance of Focusing on the process and to take small steps towards the goals. The session was concluded by a brainstorming Q & A session between students and the speaker, followed by experience sharing by the students and faculty members who applauded Mr. Saurabh for his session. In the closing part of the session the keynote speaker was presented with a hamper as token of appreciation and gratitude from the college end followed by Vote of Thanks. The event was successfully organized under the guidance of the Chairman of the college, Mr. Rajesh Agarwal, Principal Dr. M.S. Mishra. The coordinator for the event was Dr. Shweta Tiwari.
