“The Significance of Environment Protection: an event to aware students”

On 22 nd of July, Friday the mutual efforts of MAIC IQAC and Rover & Ranger Crew along with Green Army Raipur conducted a plant distribution drive at the campus of Maharaja Agrasen International College. All faculties and students were informed about environmental issues they were also informed to plant as many trees as they can. Royal Poinciana, portulaca, grandiflora, Bauhinia variegata, Mango and many other fruitful and shady plants were distributed in this camp. Chairman MAIC Shri Rajesh Agrawal Encouraged all students for their future endeavors. Further he added that it is a noble cause to distribute plants and spread awareness about it, we all have seen the scarcity of oxygen during covid therefore we should thank god for this wonderful source. Deforestation and Deplantation has made this situation even worst, Ground level water is disappearing, ozone layer is also harming, global worming and many other issues has kept attention of humans. Trees are useful to us in many ways they hold water and soil at the time of floods: wood, fruits, flowers, medicinal leaves and many other things are available because of trees. It also protects the ozone layer. MAIC Rover and Ranger Crew works in a direction to make the world and society a better place, MAIC Rover and Ranger Crew donated over 250 plants, these plants were planted near the houses and locality by the students. This programme was conducted under the guidance of Chairman MAIC Shri Rajesh Agrawal and Principal M. S. Mishra. MAIC Professors, staff and students were present in this event. Mr. Amitabh Dubey were present as a member of Green Army.
