Apr 24, 2023 Maharaja Agrasen International College, Raipur has been organising MAIC Solitaire for many years. In this program special training classes are arranged for women and college girls. These classes are handled by experts and highly trained mentors. The institution is an active leader providing their services to society and organizing MAIC Solitaire is a part of it.
The program is scheduled in the month of April, May and June in two batches. The batch started from 1st April and scheduled at 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. There are two batches in the month of May and June; first batch starts from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and second batch from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. There are various classes including Zumba, Self-defense, make up, hair style, art and craft, cooking, e-card making, cyber crime security, uses of social media and many more. MAIC Solitaire is specially designed to promote self confidence and enhance the personality of home makers.
In this succession, Art and Craft session was scheduled by renowned expert Ms. Nibedita Panda who took two sessions in which various artworks were taught using different creative techniques. Ms. Panda is a specialist art mentor with Pidilite for the last 8 years and has conducted more than 300 workshops in Raipur for the past 4 years. The sessions included hands on training on Glass painting, Miniature Pottery, Pebble Art and many more. It helped students to learn about varied forms of art like painting in different media. All the participants enjoyed the session very much. Also renowned dance mentor Mr. Ajay Jagat is taking dance and Zumba classes on daily basis.
A Parenting session was conducted for the women participants by Dr. Meena Pinjani. She told about different parenting styles understand the behaviors, attitudes, and approaches that a parent uses when interacting with and raising their child. It can have a significant impact on their children's development and well-being.
A Cybercrime awareness session was engaged for women safety in MAIC Solitaire. It is the most discussed problem in the 21st century. According to Additional S.P. Mr. Kavi Gupta, ‘Women should never share their pictures and videos to safeguard themselves from the evil sight of cyber stalkers’. The usage of cell phones and the internet is increasing dramatically over the world, which is generating questions about consumers' security and privacy. Because of this, it is crucial for all users to understand cybercrime and security.
All the participants will be provided certificates and the best performances will be honored with exciting prizes. The registration has been started for May and June. The entire event is being organized under the guidance of Chairman Mr. Rajesh Agrawal, Principal Dr. M. S. Mishra and Administrator Mr. Siddharth Sabharwal.
