Maharaja Agrasen International College celebrated its 20th Foundation Day
Jul 05, 2023 Maharaja Agrasen International College, Raipur celebrated its 20th Foundation Day today along with the release of XVII edition of Annual College Magazine – MAIC Light and Scholarship Distribution to the topper students of each department and batch. The trustees of the Shri Maharaja Agrasen Charitable Trust Shri Chaturbhuj Agrawal, Shri Jagdish Prasad Agrawal, Shri Rajendra Agrawal, Shri Rajesh Agrawal (Chairman - MAIC), Shri Ramesh Agrawal (Ex- Chairman - MAIC), Shri Atmbodh Agrawal, Shri Praharsh Pramod Agrawal and Governing board member Shri Nawal Kishore Agrawal were especially present for the event. The program was formally inaugurated by saraswati poojan and lighting of the lamp followed by welcome dance by Ms. Lali Soni. Dr. Shweta Tiwari also briefed the dignitaries and students regarding the journey, achievements, and tremendous growth of the college spanning over 20 yrs. Dr. M. S. Mishra explained the biggest charity of all is to provide education and the college is thankful for the trust for their exceptional commitment and motivational work in the field of education and also wholeheartedly welcomed all the trustees present and in absentia as well as mentioned gratitude towards their involvement and guidance provided for the college. The students of MAIC Band and MAIC Rhythm gave mesmerizing performances. Faculty members Ms. Vertika Shrivastava, HOD Computer Application Department, Dr. S.K. Jain, Assistant Professor, Commerce Department shared their experiences in the institution and their gratefulness towards amicable support they have received from the college management and the trustees over the years. MAIC Student Kriti Agrawal also shared her experiences pertaining to college and various virtues that were embedded in her over her learning period here. She also elaborated how the college and faculties have ensured overall development of all students. Following this the trustees of the college were felicitated by the faculty members for their exceptional service to the society. In the next segment of the event the XVII edition of Annual College Magazine MAIC Lite of session 2022-23 was released and scholarship distribution to the merit holder students of session 2022-23 commenced in the presence of the honorable trustees. All the Heads of the department, faculty members, admin and supporting staff were also felicitated by the trustees of the college. Ex- Chairman Shri. Ramesh Agarwal elaborated the emersion of his father’s vision that has resulted into this great and flourishing establishment that has provided educational facilities to numerous students and is continuing to do so. He also applauded Shri Rajesh Agrawal, Chairman of the college for his unwavering involvement and support as well as attention to detail as important and motivating aspect of the growth of the college. Trustee Shri Chaturbhuj Agarwal also mentioned his admiration towards exceptional growth of the college and its continuous upliftment as a matter of proud to the trust. All the department heads, faculty members and students were present and were witnesses of this grand event.
