Seminar on how to prepare competitive exams organized at MAIC

Maharaja Agrasen International College organized a seminar for its students on the topic “How to prepare Competitive Exams” on 28 Oct 2023 as a part of Saturday Activity. The session was taken by Dr. M.S. Mishra principal of the college and a learned teaching enthusiast. The session began with floral welcome of the guest followed by the session commencement. Dr. Mishra talked about the difference between University and Competitive exams and what should be our schedule and scheme to reach that goal. He also talked about the way of goal setting that it should be Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-Bound. Defining these parameters as they pertain to your goal helps ensure that your objectives are attainable within a certain time frame. He very easily elaborated and made the students understand the exam pattern and what part should be focused upon. He then discussed about the self study as an important parameter in such competitive exams and how clear concepts in several topics prove to be helpful in the final exams. He also told the students regarding subject selection with relevance to time and importance of this aspect. Noting important points in subjects is very crucial and can help in quick revision sessions. The session was interactive and students enthusiastically answered as well as put up the questions for the speaker.The session fruitfully ended by with vote of thanks by Ms. Seema. The event was successfully organized under the guidance of the Chairman of the college, Mr. Rajesh Agarwal. Ms. Rishi Diwan Pandey was the incharge, Abhijeet Chakravarty was the co-ordinator of the Saturday Activity.
