Sep 20, 2022 Maharaja Agrasen International College organized Skill Development Program for the final year students of the college on the topic “College to Corporate and Change in the Expectation of Recruiters in Industry”. The keynote speaker for the session was Dr. Swetha Puneet.
The session focused majorly on the acquirement of digital knowledge as a key feature towards upskillment of an individual. The speaker also briefed students about the fourth industrial revolution which is in the form of adoption of cyber physical systems like internet of things and internet of systems which includes high speed mobile internet, artificial intelligence and automation, big data analytics, cloud tech, virtual and augmented reality and IoT. The aspects regarding future workforce and digital skills needed by the employers were discussed along with the core idea of digital skill development that is the need of the hour. The speaker also enlightened the students with the fast pacing world of algorithms and artificial intelligence that is taking over as well as changing the entire working ecosystem which has started affecting the recruitment procedure enormously. Improvement of digital skills through self learning and certified courses can be considered a way to be updated about latest technology and advancements to emerge as an asset for the recruitment industry. These points were proved to be the valuable takeaways from the session.
