The Department of Arts & Humanities strives to offer students an all-inclusive education in B.A. Arts including English Literature, Sociology, and Political Science, Hindi and M.A. in English Literature, within a supportive and stimulating environment. Each year, an increasing number of both undergraduate and postgraduate students choose to study these subjects. Additionally, students pursuing a postgraduate degree in English Literature are exposed to all significant aspects of literature written in English.

The Department's teaching activities extend beyond its primary focus, providing English instruction, foundation courses, and communication skills training to students from other departments as well.
