Rules & Regulations

I. General

  • It shall be the bounded duty of every student to abide by the rules and regulations of the college and to conduct himself/herself with discipline and decorum in all places and all circumstances.
  • Every student shall attend classes regularly with punctuality and shall refrain from any action that may disturb the smooth working of college.
  • Every student must be present in all lectures scheduled for the day. No student will be allowed to join late or leave in between the lectures.
  • Students must follow the proper dress code ascertained for Wednesday and Saturday. All students must always be decorous and decent in Dress Sense and Behavior.
  • It is compulsory for every student to possess and carry an Identity card issued by the college.
  • Use of mobile phones is strictly prohibited in the classrooms. Any student found using the mobile phones will result in confiscation.
  • Megaphones, loudspeakers, and such gadgets are not allowed in the college.
  • Use of alcohol, drugs, and smoking is strictly prohibited in the college and will lead to immediate expulsion from the Institution.
  • College authorities will arrange Picnics, Excursion cum Educational Tour, and Industrial visits as per schedule. The written consent of parents is required for all such activities.
  • Students shall not encourage or invite outsiders, friends, and relatives to the college campus.
  • Grievances of any kind are to be reported to the College Grievance Cells.
  • The Principal has the right to decide on any matter regarding any issues in the college.

II. Responsibility of the Parents/Guardians:

  • Parents/Guardians are expected to regularly monitor the Academic Performance and the Attendance of their ward in the College through SMS, E-mails, Calls, and from the concerned faculty.
  • The Responsibility of making sure that a student has earned the required minimum percentage of attendance (75%) in each subject to appear for the university examination. The college aims to inculcate a habit of cent percent quality attendance of each and every student in order to render excellence in Academics as well as co-curricular activities.
  • It is the joint responsibility of Parents and Guardians to reciprocate in a positive manner by motivating their ward to be disciplined and molding him into a noble and responsible citizen of our nation.

    III. Admission

    For taking admission in the college, students must purchase the Prospectus and Admission Form from the Admission Cell. Eligibility:

    • Eligibility Certificate must be obtained from Pt.Ravishankar Shukla University Raipur prior to taking admission in MAIC by:
    • Those students who have passed 12th Examination other than Chhattisgarh State
    • Those students who have passed Graduation/other course from the University other than Pt.Ravishankar Shukla University Raipur. In both the cases, they require to submit Migration Certificate along with Transfer Certificate issued from the School/College and Board/University
    • The Purchase of Admission Form does not confirm the Admission to any class. Admission Process will be completed after:
    • Deposit of Total fee in the Authorized Bank of the college.
    • The said Challan/Payslip must be submitted in the College through the Bank Challan/ Pay Slip issued by College within two days and the date as mentioned by the college authorities. Accounts Department and Admission Form duly filled with all necessary documents including TCCC, Photographs Mark sheets Eligibility Certificate, Migration Certificate, Aadhar Card Copy, and Gap Certificate etc. after the due approval of HOD's/Authorities in the admission Cell.
    • The Final decision to consider the Admission/Re-admission or Rejection is vested in the powers of Management and College Authorities. Each and every student who has taken Regular Admission in MAIC is required to take Re-Admission in the next higher class after he/she has passed the University Annual Examination. The Re-Admission will be done on the basis of students Academic Performance, Attendance, and Behavior.
    • If any student is involved in Anti-Social Activities Violence and cases of indiscipline during the session Admission will be terminated immediately and no readmission or refund will be considered.

    IV. Fee

    Full fee payment has to be made at the time of Admission. University Examination Fee Enrollment Fee is to be paid separately as per Pt.R.S.U.Notification.

    • No Refund of amount will be done.
    • Students taking Admission in Semester Course will deposit/Pay Complete one year. If a student discontinues studies due to year back/having failed in Exam/Personal Reason there will be no adjustments or refund of Fee.
    • Those students who have paid their complete fee in the last session and had not cleared their exam can apply for fee adjustment. Their 50% of fee will be adjusted at the time of new session admission.
    • All the payment to student (Fee Refund, Scholarship, Caution money etc) will be in the name of student only Cheque. No matter will be entertained.
    • Students have to clear all his/her college dues before appearing for the University examination.

    V. Ragging

    The Hon'ble Supreme Court of India has given a comprehensive meaning of ragging as under" Ragging in any disorderly conduct, whether by words spoken or written or by an act which has the effect of teasing treating or handling with rudeness. Any student indulging in rowdy or indiscipline activities which cause or are likely to cause annoyance.hardship or pshycological harm or to raise fear or apprehension there of in a fresher or a junior student and which has the effect of causing or generating a sense of shame or embrassment so as to adversely effect the psyche of a fresher or a Junior student "Ragging/teasing/intimidating/harassing/using words of abuse etc.on junior students especially female students within the campus or outside are punishable / crime under police act, and such matters will be immediately reported to the police.

  • Students involved in such acts will be adequately pinished amount to- Limprisonment upto 2 years 2. A fine upto Rs.25.000/- 3.Dismissal from the College.
