Save Birds Campaign in MAIC

“Save Birds Campaign” was conducted by Rover Ranger Team of Maharaja Agrasen International College, Samta Colony, Raipur (MAIC). This program was organized successfully under the guidance of Chairman of the college, Shri Rajesh Agrawal and Principal Dr. M.S. Mishra. All the Rover-Ranger members of the college participated in this campaign with full enthusiasm. All the professors and Rover-Ranger students made very beautiful nests and houses for the birds using various materials easily available in and around their homes like wood, box, plastic bottle, rope, coconut shell etc. Taking full care of the natural environment in these artificial nests, food and water was arranged for them. Gave message for protection of birds through videos. In the scorching heat, where life becomes difficult not only for humans but also for animals and birds, arranging food and water for small birds and saving their lives is the real act of humanity. And this campaign is being run in this context. The Save Birds campaign is a unique effort among the social work done by the Rover Ranger students of MAIC like tree plantation, water conservation cleanliness campaign etc., which is done every year by the Rover-Ranger team of the college. Certainly, such events and campaigns play an important role in bringing consciousness and awareness in the society towards small birds which are an integral part of nature. Rover Ranger Incharge Dr. Degree Lal Patel and Mr. Abhijeet Chakraborty, Dr. Akanksha Dubey, Mr. Gopiram Sonkar, Ms. Neelima Nishad were the coordinators of the bird rescue campaign program.
